About
Blind Lady Krafts
Hi! My name is T. DeAnn Moore. I am a mother of 8 children and a grandmother to 16 grandchildren. A few years ago, my vision started to decline rapidly and today I have less than 5% of my vision. I started making hats to keep my hands busy and then progressed into making coasters and wreaths. I have a very loving and encouraging family who helped turn my hobbies into a business. Thank you for checking out Blind Lady Krafts!
Hello, my name is Tammy “DeAnn” Moore, happily married to Randy Moore. We are a blended family of 8 children and 16 beautiful grandchildren, with more blessings on the way. We currently reside in Utah. I grew up in a small town called Antioch, California. I have always had family in Utah, so I chose to raise my children here.
A few years back, I woke up with vision problems. In two days I went from good vision to losing 10%. Over a few months, I unfortunately lost more of my vision and for a few years I held steady at only having 10% of my vision. My last eye exam showed that I currently have approximately 4% of my vision left. I am learning and navigating this world in a whole new way. This has been a journey not only for me but for my family as well. We have had our trials and heartbreak along the way but we have found our strength in each other as well.
I started this company because I have always considered myself to be a hard worker. I am not one to just sit around and “listen” to the world to go on without me. I finally found my new adventure, to create crafts that I can do without sight. My vision for this company is to give my customers a part of me through my creativity. For you to see the vision that I have in my head. I want my work to show my hard work, pride, and dedication in whatever craft that I am designing for you.
